FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Network Instruments® Select European Partners to Reap
Greater Sales and Profit Opportunities with New Channel Program
Premier Partners to Receive Primary Lead Access, Joint Marketing Campaigns,
and Exclusive Sales Support
London, UK – 27 September 2005 – Network Instruments, the leading developer of network analysis, monitoring, and management solutions, unveiled today the European Premier Partner Program designed to help maximise revenue for select channel partners. Qualifying partners will receive specialised sales, marketing, and technical support. This includes precedence over Network Instruments leads, co-marketing funds, product/sales training, and deal incentives on the award-winning Observer® product line.
Ian Cummins, director of European sales for Network Instruments, designed the program to reward high-performing partners with large-scale opportunities and to meet the heightened demand for Observer.
“Premier Partners will get priority response from Network Instruments but most importantly they will have exclusive rights to our higher-end opportunities,” said Cummins. “Demand for Network Instruments’ products continues to increase. The Premier Partner Program offers us a way to manage that increased demand and build on our channel commitments.”
Product expertise, knowledge, and continued training are also key program components.
“It is of paramount importance to Network Instruments that all customers are given the highest level of support on installation and configuration,” said Cummins. “Premium Partners continue to receive product education and training, making them especially qualified in this area.”
In the United Kingdom, the first company selected to join the Premier Partner ranks is Open Reality, a dealer specialising in network management solutions.
“Network Instruments Premier Partner Program offers us complete assurance that we are considered first when it comes to large-scale sales opportunities,” said Duncan Little, managing director of Open Reality. “We are also the first to know of new product developments and first to receive training; this provides us with a definite competitive advantage in sales opportunities. With other vendors we have to fight to be recognised; with Network Instruments the service is guaranteed.”
To qualify for the Premier Partner Program, the partner must meet a number of requirements such as dedicating an internal team to Network Instruments’ products, reporting on sales opportunities, supplying monthly forecasts, and agreeing to quarterly sales targets. All Premier Partners team members must also pass the Certified Network Instruments Engineer (CNIE) training program.
Network Instruments develops network management solutions, including the award-winning Observer product line for network analysis. Outside of the United States, Network Instruments’ products are sold exclusively through a distributor/partner model.
