Network Instruments Approved 802.11a Wireless Adapters

Network Instruments offers the Proxim Skyline 802.11a PCMCIA CardBus adapter. The Skyline 802.11a works with Observer's 802.11a ErrorTrak wireless drivers to offer complete analysis and trending of 802.11a traffic.

When not using Observer, the Proxim adapter will function as a standard 802.11a adapter and deliver secure and interference-free wireless communications. Security is ensured with 64-, 128- and 152-bit WEP encryption and utilization of an access control list. The Skyline 802.11a product operate in the unlicensed and clean 5 GHz band.
