1. What is NI University?
Network Instruments offers network troubleshooting programs and technical training courses at authorised training centres throughout Europe with NI University. The courses help network professionals effectively monitor, troubleshoot and manage network performance using the award-winning Observer solutions in interactive classroom and hands-on lab settings. The comprehensive three-day training program leads to the CNIE certification.

2. What is CNIE?
CNIE stands for Certified Network Instruments Engineer. A Certified Network Instruments Engineer has full knowledge of heterogeneous network management and troubleshooting. To obtain the title of Certified Network Instruments Engineer, students must complete all three days of coursework, pass the practical examinations, and demonstrate understanding of the scripting process.

3. Why enrol at NI University?
Attending NI University courses allows you to maximise your Observer investment by learning how to effectively monitor, troubleshoot and optimise network traffic with Network Instruments solutions. Enrolling at NI University guarantees the training you will receive is accredited by Network Instruments and will be delivered by a certified instructor. NI University is well known for its professionalism and offers the only training program leading to the CNIE certification.

4. What can I expect when attending the course?
You can expect to receive comprehensive, hands-on, professionally delivered training. Sessions are structured but interactive so you will have plenty of opportunity to ask questions to the instructor and discuss with the other network professionals attending the same class. At NI University, every student is provided with a comprehensive training manual. You will also receive a complimentary NI University polo shirt. Students who successfully complete the CNIE program will be sent an official “Certified Network Instruments Engineer” certificate.

5. I did not enroll for NI University when purchasing Observer. Can I still register
