What is NI University?
Network Instruments offers network troubleshooting programs and technical training courses at various authorised training centres throughout Europe with NI University. The NI University courses are designed to help IT administrators effectively monitor, troubleshoot and maintain their networks presenting both theory and practice in analysing networks using the award-winning Observer® solutions. NI University comprehensive three-day network troubleshooting and technical training certification program leads to the well recognised CNIE certification.

What is CNIE?
CNIE stands for Certified Network Instruments Engineer. A Certified Network Instruments Engineer has the full knowledge of heterogeneous network management and troubleshooting. To obtain the title “Certified Network Instruments Engineer”, students must complete all three days of coursework, pass the practical examinations, and demonstrate understanding of the scripting process. This ensures the credibility of this title -- Network Instruments’ CNIE certification program is quickly gaining recognition across the industry. Why enrol at NI University?
Attending a NI University course allows you to maximise your Observer investment by learning how to effectively troubleshoot, maintain, optimise and monitor network traffic with Network Instruments solutions. Enrolling at NI University guarantees the training you will receive is accredited by Network Instruments and will be delivered by a certified instructor. What can I expect when attending the course?
You can expect to receive comprehensive, hands-on, professionally delivered training. Sessions are structured but interactive so you will have plenty of opportunity to ask questions to the instructor and discuss with the other network professionals attending the same class. At NI University, every student is provided with a comprehensive training manual. You will also receive a complimentary NI University polo shirt. Students who successfully complete the CNIE program will be sent an official “Certified Network Instruments Engineer” certificate.

I did not enroll for NI University when purchasing Observer. Can I still register for the CNIE program?
Of course. We recommend registering with NI University when purchasing an Observer solution so you can get the most out of your investment straight away, but training can be booked at any time through your local Network Instruments reseller.
